Columbia Records Studio A is the studio where artists like Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, The Byrds, Dusty Springfield, Brenda Lee, Tammy Wynette, Elvis Costello, Simon and Garfunkle and many others all cut records. Bob Dylan recorded, 'Nashville Skyline' at Studio A and the album's success made Nashville a recording destination for musicians who may have not ventured there to record otherwise.
